did nelson work on these? i thought he was just working on ghost.
anyway, how come you made your own? guess xanga wasn't enough for ya?

Hi David Han. You're correct, Xanga is too inflexible for me. I'd rather lose the convenience than to lose the flexiblity.
To add on top of that, Movable Type (the CMS system I'm currently using) isn't flexible enough for me either. I'm thinking about trying out .Text (in ASP.NET). However, I think that, too, wouldn't be flexible enough for me.
One thing I don't like about MovableType is its commenting system. I much prefer a threaded model than this flattened model. It's quite annoying.
If Cox (my cable company) didn't block my port 80, I'd run a web server on my own computer. However, I don't think that'll happen and that's the reason why I'm resorting to this $3/month host. Techically, I can run a web server on a different port, e.g. 8080, but that'll just make the address really ugly and hard to remember.
